The Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, part of the first-class brand of the leading hospitality company Rezidor SAS Hospitality, has appointed Murat Oldac as director of sales and marketing.
Oldac, a Turkish national, has valuable hospitality experience, having worked in different management positions including the rooms division, revenue management and sales and marketing. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in tourism and hotel management and speaks fluent Turkish and English.
He first joined the company in 2000 in Turkey at the Radisson SAS Conference and Airport Hotel, Istanbul. His most recent role was director of sales and marketing at the Radisson SAS Bosphorus Hotel, Istanbul, where he was part of the successful pre-opening and opening team of the property.
The Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel will see the opening of its Residence and Spa in October this year. The residence has 121 luxury apartments – a choice of one, two or three bedroom apartments or exclusive penthouse suites – all for lease on yearly contracts or more. The second spa to be housed in a luxury hotel in Bahrain will have a range of unique facilities including a separate male spa and ladies only indoor pool, 12 ladies treatment rooms, seven men’s treatment rooms, five pools – two of them outdoor, a 280 square metre feature lagoon pool, state-of-the-art male and female gymnasiums, sophisticated sauna rooms, Jacuzzi and pool facilities, an outdoor tennis court and indoor squash courts.
