Projects Construction Company, Bahrain, have introduced Vision Homes, a range of low-cost affordable housing, based on 30 years of building and construction experience.

Their objective is to get the best possible home design at the lowest possible cost and they have certainly done that. All the products have gone through a rigorous selection process to ensure that each material meets with stringent performance standards, the object being to provide the best quality product for maximum durability and aesthetic appeal at the best price.
A three-bedroom villa will cost you BD20,000 and will be built from start to finish in only one month. The only criterion is that you have to own the land and have planning permission to have a house built. You also need to have electricity and water mains supplied to the site.
The foundations of the property are traditional raft foundations with thickenings beneath the load-bearing outer walls. The slab is fully waterproofed and the stainless steel bolts are cast into the slab ready to connect to the outer walls. The outer load bearing walls are made up in a galvanised steel frame. The outer skin is then finished with a 30mm thick gunite rendered concrete finish, over a wire mesh. The wall construction has been made and designed for better insulation and sound than that of a traditional construction. All materials have been designed to be fully protected from the heat and moisture and to also prevent cracking. The roof is traditional timber trussed which is fully insulated and finished off with a metal tiled roof. Internal walls are constructed in the same manner as the external walls but with a plaster finish on both sides. These walls have the added advantage of being flexible and so can be moved to form a layout plan of the clients’ choice.
The finished property comes with a fully tiled bathroom and fully tiled shower room both with white furnishings, kitchen units and cabinets (but not appliances), internal hollow core timber doors, feature coving, and is fully decorated in neutral colours. The flooring is made up of tiling in the entrance hall, living room, kitchen and bathrooms and for the bedrooms you have a choice of tiles, carpet or wood floors. All the villas are provided with the electrics complete and operating ready for occupation and include the light fittings. Power points are provided for the A/C units for easy installation by the purchaser.
