Nissan is optimistic of registering a double-digit sales growth in the UAE market this year.
At least two new Nissan models are due for launch before the end of this year, said a report in the Gulf News.
“The automotive market in the UAE is demonstrating sustainable growth and Nissan projects a double digit growth in 2006,” the report added quoting general manager, Al Masaood Automobiles, Nissan’s distributor in Abu Dhabi, David Radcliffe.
The new Nissan models due for launch shortly would help sales, Radcliffe said after the launch of a new Nissan Sunny.
Sunny accounts for 12 per cent of total sales in Abu Dhabi.
