MANAMA: A benefit dance for the Gawad Kalinga (GK) Bahrain Village will be spotlit on November 3, at the Golden Tulip Hotel Grand Ballroom.

The benefit dance is another project of the ANCOP-GK Bahrain and the Philippine Embassy for the purpose of raising funds for the Gawad Kalinga Bahrain Village currently under construction in South Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines.
The event dubbed as Salsa Latina — Noche Encantada (Enchanted Night) is a journey through music, dances and performances of rich Latino cultures, encompassing the richness as it travels and mixes with the East, the West and the Middle Eeastern cultures.
Guests are welcome to come in their best dance attire and experience an array of sizzling salsa tunes with the rich mixed culture in a very special community setting. A surprise special presentation will also be highlighted with the best Salsa Dancers in Bahrain.   Tickets are available at BD10 inclusive of entrance and dinner to the ballroom.
Gawad Kalinga is a Philippine-based movement that envisions building 700,000 homes in 7,000 communities in seven years. It was formally launched on October 4, 2003 with October 4, 2010 as the target date for delivery.
