MANAMA: The Amwaj Triathlon is all set to kick-off come October 27 at the Amwaj Islands.
The event is organised by Expert, for Events & Exibitions Management for the owners of Amwaj Islands.
It consist of swimming in the lagoon for 750 metres, followed by 16km cycle
and finished with a 5km run — all taking place inside Amwaj Islands’ main roads.
The event is open to ages 16 and above and both sexes. The event is open to individuals or teams of two or three (each completing part of the event).
It’s the first sporting event of this magnitude carried out at Islands.
