Gulf Weekly Becker looks to his Riffa Views

MANAMA:  Riffa Views is harnessing links with high-profile international sporting celebrities to propel the residential and lifestyle community to the forefront of the international property market.

Riffa Views’ CEO, Richard Browning, was in Europe where an agreement with tennis legend, Boris Becker, has been concluded and announced at the star’s own high-profile annual charity event in the German city of Munich.
On announcing the agreement, Boris Becker said: “I am delighted to be part of this exciting project and pleased that the management of Riffa Views sees tennis as an important component to residential life, as it has been to my life.  Fast and accurate delivery has been a critical part of my game and I believe that the team I work with at Riffa Views has the same approach.  Through this project I will endeavour to share much of my experience in tennis with residents and visitors to Riffa Views and the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
Boris Becker will arrive in Bahrain for an exhibition match this December.
Before arriving in Munich, Browning was in Dublin, Ireland, as a guest of the PGA at the Ryder Cup.  Riffa Views is home to a global standard 18-hole PGA golf course and discussions were held on how to make the oasis golf course one of the best in the world through the use of the PGA landscaping expertise.
“This European trip focused on increasing public awareness of what we are doing in Bahrain with the Riffa Views development,” Browing said.
“Riffa Views will help take golf to the next level in the kingdom as well as in the region.  An important factor in this equation is finding opportunities for junior golf development in Bahrain.  Europe, as the birth place of the sport itself, is the ideal location for seeking such opportunities.  Therefore, another aspect of this trip is finding the most promising of these opportunities and further developing them,” continued Browning.
Browning’s journey ended in St Andrews, Scotland, where he concluded an agreement with Scottish golfing legend, Colin Montgomerie, who will be the Signature Designer of the new course at Riffa Views.
Signing with these internationally renowned parties is set to further strengthen the prestige of Riffa Views Signature Estates and a serious exploration of opportunities to develop junior golf are all integral to the vision for the development.
