Wednesday (April 11)
 Easter Sports Camp, at American Express Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Saar.

The sports camp is open to children aged between six and 14. Besides treasure hunts, entertainment prizes and an overnight camp at the club other activities will include rugby, basketball, soccer, cricket, pool games, quizzes and rounders. Sessions run from 10am to 2pm.

 Spring of Culture: Iraqi artist Jaber Alwan exhibition at Al Riwaq Gallery, 7pm. His main medium of preference is oils although he has created a few canvases in acrylic. His style is surrealistic abstract portraits of the feminine nature.

Thursday (April 12)
 Spring of Culture: Brasil Brasileiro samba in all forms featuring 50 performers from Brazil will bring alive the spirit, that makes Brazil unique at the Arad Fort in a two-day show. The 30 dancers and 15 musicians will begin as a ritual love dance to the excitement of a modern day Rio street carnival. They will be joined by renowned singer legends in Brazil including Jair Rodrigues and Eliza Soares. The show begins at 8.30pm.

 Dutch techno producer Steve Rachmad will perform at the Likwid, City Centre hotel as part of the Grand Prix weekend entertainment. Tickets cost BD7 for men and BD5 for women and Nightlife members. Doors open at 9pm. For more information call 36766627.

 Spring of Culture: Bahraini abstract artists Khaled Farhan and Jaffar Al Orabi each with their own distinct visual style will showcase a collection of their recent works in a joint exhibition at Al Riwaq Art Gallery in Adliya. The exhibition will be open to public from 10 am to 8pm.

 Soul, Jazz and R & B, catch the ‘EBONY’ South African duo vocalists Nokhula Sarioui ‘Thuli’ and Ian Malgarte (also keyboard player) at the Flamingo lounge, Moevenpick Hotel in Bahrain, from 9pm onwards.
