More than 200 people attended the St George’s Day Red and White Ball at the Sheraton Hotel’s Al Taj Ballroom.
Guest of honour at the Royal Society of St George event were British Ambassador Jamie Bowden and his wife Sarah. Entertainment was provided by Queen Elizabeth lookalike Elizabeth Richard and the British band, Wild at Heart, who were flown in from England specially for the occasion. DJ Krazy Kevin, Bahrain Police Chamber Orchestra helped add a local flavour to the night. Main sponsors were Batelco. Gulf Air, Gulf Cellar, Fine Food and Moh’d Jalal Jaguar Division.
