Bahraini-renowned author Ali Al Saeed will hold a book signing at the newly opened Jashanmal Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Seef Mall's new extension. The event will be held on May 4, from 4pm to 6pm.
The event is held to promote Ali's latest book, Moments, which was published to wide-acclaim last year. This was his second book, following his successful debut novel, QuioxtiQ, in 2004.
Favorable reviews continue for the collection of short stories that took the author no less than eight years to accumulate. Moments has been praised by international authors, critics and academics alike as “original, “powerful” and “magical”.
Ali is the recipient of the Bahrain Outstanding Book of the Year Award and has recently co-founded Elham, a group for creative arts in Bahrain. More information on the author, his books and projects he is currently involved in at www.alialsaeed.com.
