A classical dance drama combining literature, music, painting, acting and dance was performed at the Indian Club, Manama.
Kathakali master Kalamandalam Balasubramanian enthralled the audience at the event organised by the Indian Fine Arts Society. The society, in association with the club, staged the Kathakali adaptation of Poothapattu – a masterpiece of the Malayali poet Edasseri Govindan Nair. Indian Ambassador Balkrishna Shetty was the chief guest.
