Riffa Golf Club sponsored a tournament at the Bahrain Golf Club which saw veteran national team player Nasser Yacoob win the gross section with a 6 under par 65, coming back in an excellent 31.
Ahmed Al Fayed clinched first prize in the net section with a 65, playing off a handicap of 7.
“The board of directors and management of Riffa Golf Club remain committed to developing and promoting the sport of golf in the kingdom,” said Michael Braidwood, general manager, Riffa Golf Club.
“It was our pleasure to sponsor the prizes for this event for the fifth consecutive year.”
“This competition officially marked the end of the golfing season for players at the Bahrain Golf Club,” explained Bahrain Golf Club captain Ateeq Mujali. “Thank you very much to all at Riffa Golf Club for their continued support.”
