DJ Andy Caldwell will perform at the Club Seven in the Mishal Hotel, off Exhibition Road on June 22, as part of his Bar Grooves CD release world tour.
His debut artist album “Universal Truth” (Om Records), delves into an uncharted world of rock/electronic/house, bringing his signature strong songwriting and production to the forefront.
It features vocalists Gina René (Soulstice), Amma (Naked Music), Lisa Shaw (Naked Music), Omega (Afro-Mystik/Blackalicious) and Latrice Barnett (Ultra) with live instrumentation (recorded primarily by Andy himself).
For over the past 10 years, his DJ schedule has allowed him to share his love of music with fans around the world, performing as a DJ / musician in every major city on every continent.

Lauryn Hill in Dubai
Multi-platinum and Grammy award winner, Lauryn Hill will perform at the third Life Music Festival event to be held on July 5 at the MPV – the indoor Madinat Arena, Madinat Jumeirah.
A former member of The Fugees, Lauryn Hill is a multi-talented artist who is known to be one of the few artists in the industry who can both sing and rap skillfully with a dominant and respected presence in both styles.
Hill has won over 30 awards including eight Grammy awards and three world-best selling music awards. In 1996, The Fugees’ “Killing Me Softly” won the Grammy for the R&B category. Her solo career life took off two years later with the release of ‘The Miseducation of Ms Lauryn Hill’, an album that marked her title with four major awards: Best New Artist, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Album, setting a new record for a woman recording artist.
The festival will also feature Karl Wolf, Danny Neville and DJ Bliss. Doors of the festival will open at 7pm.
