I’ve never really been that much of a rock fan but Ozzy Osbourne’s new album Black Rain is a permanent fixture in my car these days. The Prince of Darkness is back after six years and it was well worth the wait.
Having watched him perform live on the Jonathan Ross Show, I didn’t hold out much hope – well let’s face it, he’s far too wobbly on his feet to be jumping around convincingly on stage – but once I heard the album I was converted.
His voice has been electronically modified to sound a little more powerful than it does these days but that just adds to the whole experience rather than detracting from it. Buy it, listen to it and love it!
