Fist of fury

A ceremony was held to mark the opening of Japanese Karate Association (JKA), Bahrain Dojo, at the Future Shape Studio at Garden City Compound, Budaiya.

Present were Goys president Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Japanese Ambassador Takeshi Kondo, embassy officials and guests.
JKA Bahrain is a newly created branch of the world’s foremost authority on karate and is present in more than 100 countries. It is the heir to the Shotokan karate tradition, and is the only legal karate entity officially approved by Japanese government as an association of members (Shadan Hojin) for the promotion of karate. 
It is the only official club in Bahrain endorsed and directly affiliated to JKA Japan. The training and ranking system (belts) are the only ones certified from Japan and recognised worldwide.
