Wednesday (July 11)
A tribute to legendary rock singer Bono of U2 will be performed by Franco Bono at the JJ’s Irish Pub in Al Bustan Hotel, Adliya. For more information, contact on 17 742323.

Muharraq Summer Festival at the Muharraq Garden every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 10pm. Entry is free for all. Activities include children's games, daily quizzes and competitions, a bouncy castle, train rides, arcade games, pony, horse and camel rides and face painting. A laser show, a magician, two plays and a section for handicrafts and traditional arts complete the programme.
  
Thursday (July 12)
Last day of the Crazy Dunkers show at the Sahara Centre as part of the Sharjah, UAE, summer promotion this year. The Crazy Dunkers are a professional Lebanese basketball team comprising of eight basketball acrobats and their coach. The show runs daily from 6pm and at 7.30pm.

The Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) Toastmasters Club in Segaiya is conducting an annual Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) for children from 11 to 18 years of age. Treasures of Ancient Egypt exhibited at the Bahrain National Museum, Manama daily from 8am to 8pm. The exhibition will contain artifacts dated back to 2,600BC during the time of Pharaoh Snefru, King Ramses ?? and King Tutankhamun. Entry fee is BD5 for adults and BD1 for children and students. A summer camp is being held for babies and children at ‘Bright Beginnings’ in Adliya. Toddlers aged three months to children aged six will be engaged in a list of activities including water plays, art and crafts, songs, finger plays, stories, food preparation, music and outdoor games.
