The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts will begin its 25-year celebration beginning in Jordan on July 25 and will run along until August 17.
The event will feature a broad local, Arab and international participation. The official opening will present Jordanian vocalists Rose Al Werr, Caroline Madi, and Samah Bassam accompanied by the National Jordanian Orchestra – conducted by Maestro Haytham Sukkariyah.
The International Oud Day will also be commemorated during the Jerash festival on August 3 taking place in the ancient city.
The colonnaded streets, plazas, and theatres of Jerash all provide unique venues for the activities.
