• Ray Lewis of ‘The Drifters’ makes his first visit to the Middle East on August 8 at the JJ’s Irish Pub in the Al Bustan Hotel in Adliya. Ray was a member of the group during the 1970s and 80s singing hit songs like ‘Under The Boardwalk’, ‘Saturday Night at the Movies’, ‘Up on the Roof’, ‘There Goes my First Love’, and ‘More than a Number in my Little Red Book’. This year marks 25 years of the Ghazal maestro’s involvement in the music industry. He has recorded 35 albums including Lamha, Goonghat, Nasheela, Jaaneman and Stolen Moments and contributed songs for over 50 films since 1978.
