The final of Bud Music…Live’s final gig is coming up at Likwid, City Centre Hotel on August 24.
Local musicians ‘Synergy’ is the final band entering the competition which will see the overall winner announced on the night.
Originally formed back in 2004 with a vision of playing a wide variety of music styles, Synergy had some of the most active and talented musicians on the island.
The band also featured the fabulous Jo Lincoln on lead vocals, who definitely added a lot to the band’s energy and excitement before they disbanded due to member’s prior commitments.
Now, after hearing about the Budweiser Music Live competition, bass guitarist Ahmed AlQasem, has decided to re-group and participate with some minor changes in the line-up.
Synergy will be competing and playing warm-up for the night’s main act; Indian band ‘Them Clones who will be’ entertaining the crowds into the early hours.
Three other bands are in the competition.
The entrance fee is BD3 with doors opening at 9pm.
