A spectacular fashion show took place at Seef Mall’s west wing at the weekend.
Top designs, the latest fashions and a world-class DJ were on the menu for the Bahrain Couture 2007 fashion show, organised by SJ Media Group.
The glittering three-day event showcased the latest collections for men, women and children from participating outlets at the mall.
Everything from sport, casual, smart and evening wear was paraded down the catwalk to the delight of the audience and passing shoppers.
A stunning former model-turned-DJ, DJ Sassy, provided the soundtrack throughout the event.
Day one kicked off with the latest in kid’s wear, with summery Biba-esque prints stealing the show. The men’s casual wear section was dominated by crisp-lined couture, comfortable designs and simple accessories.
The women’s casual collection on day two showcased bold prints, whimsical florals and plenty of skinny jeans and sophisticated shorts, and skirts ranging from the maxi to the mini.
But the highlight was undoubtedly the evening wear collection on the final evening of the event, when dozens of models displayed subtly shimmering evening dresses, rich silks, and intricately designed gowns that delighted the audience. Shaikha Mariam bint Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was the patron of the event.
