Gulf Air plans to promote its services in five major events

Gulf Air is embarking on a major roadshow to promote its products and services in five speciality events to be held in Bahrain between November and May 2008.
A sponsorship agreement to this effect has been signed with Arabian Exhibition Management Company – a well-known event management organisation in Bahrain.
Under the agreement, Gulf Air, besides being the official carrier, will also be a major exhibitor, at Jewellery Arabia 2007 to be held fromNovember 13-17, Autumn Fair 2008 slated held between January 22-30, 2008, GEO 2008 to be held from March 3-5, Beauty Arabia 2008 from April 16-18 and Middle East Petrotech 2008 scheduled from May 26-28.
“Gulf Air, as the airline with the largest network in the Middle East, has a large clientele in this region from a wide range of passenger segments – from petroleum to beauty,” said Gulf Air general manager Bahrain Abdulmalik Al Saei.
“These events are ideal platforms for Gulf Air to target our potential audience in these segments to show case our award-winning products and services.
“Besides, as the fastest growing financial and tourism destination Bahrain is attracting numerous events, which bring in thousands of visitors throughout the year.
“Gulf Air, as the flag carrier of the kingdom and handling more than 70 per cent of the air traffic, is at a vantage position offering multiple travel options for potential travellers,” concluded Mr Al Saei.
Gulf Air will have a dedicated stand in all these exhibitions with professional staff to explain promotional offers, holiday packages, etc.
