Wednesday (October 24) • The Pakistan Embassy brings Pakistani pop, bhangra and folk singer Abrar ul Haq to take centre stage at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre in Sanabis as part of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) festival. • The Royal Society of St George will host its annual Trafalgar Day Ball at the Grand Ambassador Suite in the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel Residence and Spa in Manama. Entertainment will be provided by the Bahrain Police Band’s Chamber Orchestra who will play during dinner. A Latin Jazz Ensemble will be set including renditions of salsa, tango and samba for dance enthusiasts. Radio Bahrain DJ and GulfWeekly columnist Krazy Kevin also features. • The American Women’s Association’s 29th annual fall craft fair, themed ‘Holiday Festival’ takes place on Saturday in the Palm Hall of the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) between 1pm-6pm.
The fair will offer festive decorations that include hand-painted ornaments, festive home décor, angels, wreaths and candle pots, painted glass, porcelain items, original paintings, charity greeting cards, prints, homemade pastries, silk paintings, clothes, toys and more. The AWA Bake Shoppe will provide with cakes and sweets.
