Hi friends, It is always difficult to know the right time to go to a social event. When you are in time, you have to go through the agony of an unending wait for the other guests. If you decide to be late, you always miss the programme.

The same problem is faced when you invite other people as guests. At times, you have to know their psychology to guess their expected time of arrival.

I have learned through experience that you can make a fairly good prediction by keeping in mind certain factors such as age, gender, profession and the social status of your invitees.

Younger ones tend to be late as compared to the older people.

For ladies, you should always give a margin of an hour for the last minute make-up touches.

Businessmen would invariably be late while bankers and bureaucrats will be generally in time.

Time management is a complete disaster if you invite a politician. Being late by a couple of hours is often punctuality by their standards. If the guest is a VIP, he would deliberately come late to mark his importance. We believe in punctuality, but only for the other people ... Maria
