The Albareh Art Gallery in Adliya will showcase paintings of Jordanian artist/poet Mohammed Al Ameri from November 5-20. The exhibition titled - Visual Navigation will display paintings with highlights on earth, sky, love, life and color.

Al Ameri is currently a member of the Jordanian critic association and the Jordanian book establishment. He is also the publisher of the Ministry of culture magazine 'Aifnoon'. The exhibition will also feature a lecture entitled 'The Movement of Contemporary Art In Jordan' as well as a small workshop. The tour will kick start with Bamboo and Kitchie Nadal opening the tour at the Khalifa Tennis Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on October 19. The event reaches Bahrain on November 9 at the Marina Beach Club in Manama featuring Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee. The tour will have its grand finale in Dubai on December 7 with the three rock band idols who will emerge as the most voted in the 'Rakrakan Overload Text Promo in Dubai'. The IFAS Children's Annual Cultural Competition will be divided into three age groups and will include a number of competitions including Indian Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam dances, Carnatic and Hindustani Vocal, instrumental music and on the spot drawing competitions. Competitions will be held from 7pm to 10pm each night and children will be divided into under-nine, under-13 and under-18 categories. Contests are open only to IFAS members' children and entry fees for each event is BD2. Entry to the event is free. German Trance and techno DJ Paul Van Dyk will perform at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. The Grammy-nominated artist and globally acclaimed DJ and producer continues to appear in the electronic music charts. Some of his famous remixes include Depeche Mode's Martyr and Justin Timberlake's What Goes Around. Van Dyk's Reflections album was also nominated for the 2005 Best Dance/ Electronic Album Grammy Award, when the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences recognised the category that year. Dubai-based Mix FM and Peppermint Club resident DJ MadJam will cover warm-up duties at the show. The Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) in association with the Soorya - Bahrain chapter is set to stage the Rhythm Nite 2007 on November 30 at the Indian School in Isa Town and will take place on November 30 from 7.30pm. Directed by Soorya Krishnamoorthy, the show will feature contemporary Indian dance and drama theatre troupe, Sumdra. Also performing are playback singers Gayathri, Manoj, Sayanora along with Bharathanatyam performance by Mythili Prakash. The Samudra troupe includes Madhu Gopinath and Vakkom Sajeev, who are the main dancers, choreographers and leading figures in the contemporary Indian dance theatre of the Samudra Dance Research Centre in Kerala, India.
