Nouveau art and architecture flourished in major European cities between 1890 and 1914.

Asymmetrical shapes, extensive use of arches and curved forms such as glass and plant-like embellishments, mosaics and stained glass are all features of 'Art Nouveau' homes.

Although this style of architecture is mainly found in Europe and the US, the Spanish/French-influences have crept into the Middle East, adding a few Arabic touches to the mix. The two-storey Kazeroni home, located in Saar near St Christopher's School, is a perfect example.

It is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood. Palm trees and greenery can be seen peeking over the high walls and a large iron rod gate which provides a serene sense of seclusion and privacy.

Walk through the entrance and you are greeted by a grand villa with large windows, curved archways, decorative glass, wooden glazed doors and a beautiful green garden.

Although the front and backyard is mainly of red brick, the left and right side of the house is covered with palm trees, flowers and grass.

A metal gate separates the pool area at the back from the garden in the front.

Inside, the property's spacious living room is unique in many ways. The large window offers a beautiful scenic view of the garden and pool with plenty of natural light seeping through.

The living room is also equipped with a hidden in-built entertainment system, ideal for background music whilst entertaining friends.

A hall and dining room is located in the centre of the ground floor leading to a large kitchen which is topped off with the latest in home appliances.

The clutter-free kitchen comes equipped with marble countertops and plenty of cooking room. The kitchen is also easily accessible from the outside with large sliding doors overlooking the pool area and a door leading to the outside facilities such as an external kitchen, changing room, driver's room with ensuite bathroom.

The roomy kitchen also includes a sizeable pantry with plenty of cupboards and shelving space. The ground floor also consists of a big guest room with built-in closet and ensuite bathroom and a guest bathroom by the dining room with a vanity set and toilet.

Marble flooring is continuous throughout the house while all the bedrooms are tiled.

Another exit to the backyard can be found via a staircase. The staircase is equipped with a wooden gate.

Three more bedrooms can be found on the first floor with a cozy family/TV room in the middle, connecting all the bedrooms together.

The master bedroom stands out from the other two in size, bathroom and technology. The ensuite bathroom boasts a Jacuzzi and stand-in shower, an elongated vanity set and an entertainment system linked to the master bedroom offering soothing sounds as you enjoy those long warm baths.

The other two bedrooms are equal in size and also come with built-in closets and beautifully decorated bathrooms.

The finishing is very important in this villa as is the high tech systems such as intercoms throughout the house and a state-of-the-art security system.

Central air-conditioning is available in the living and dining room as well as in the master bedroom while the rest of the home has split a/c. The second floor is made up of a storage space, maid's quarters with ensuite bathroom and a laundry room (with either a washer or dish washer available for installation). The second floor then leads to the roof top.

Maintenance will be supplied if needed to care for the garden and the pool. The villa also comes with a three-car garage.

Overall, a luxurious and handsome home.
