SHOPPERS have this week been checking out the new Guess by Marciano store which opened recently at Al A'Ali Shopping Complex.
The range is described as sophisticated, feminine and "unapologetically sexy". Elegant silk chiffons, soft cashmeres, and finely-decorated jacquards are amongst the lines on offer as well as denim in the latest washes and figure-flattering designs.
The company is known for its innovative style, and aims to dress and accessorise "the fashion-conscious" with handbags, watches and shoes.
"Our global store expansion is possible due to the strength of our brand and our licensee relationships," said Paul Marciano, who set up the company with his brother, Maurice.
The Marciano brothers were raised in the south of France and their love of the 'American West' combined with a European sensibility became the driving force behind the creation of Guess.
Ali Al Aradi, fashion division manager of the outlet in Bahrain, said: "It's been an amazing few days and we are delighted by the response from customers."
