A 45-floor freehold residential tower is to be built in Juffair to make a piece of "urban haven" amongst the growing number of high rise properties changing the landscape of the popular district close to Manama.

Sukoon Tower consists of 592 apartments from studios through to three-bedroom apartments and uniquely will be able to provide a range of other options.

Redha Rajab, managing director and CEO of Taysheed Properties, said the tower's design and the structural flexibility of the split apartments will provide potential purchasers with an added attraction.

He explained: "The tower will have a meticulously designed dedicated recreation floor with vast landscaped greenery, water features and a dedicated health club floor to provide its residents with a signature lifestyle.

"Great care and attention has been made to create unique apartment combination options offering investors multiple options in their choice of apartment type and area.

"We are proud to create this tower in Bahrain and invite Bahrainis and other international investors to invest in this unique opportunity."

A floor situated over a car park is aesthetically designed with outdoor and indoor recreational facilities such as a large swimming pool, child's pool, outdoor and indoor cafes, multi-purpose hall and walkways.

The tower will also include a health club with large gym, steam, sauna and Jacuzzi, plus a business centre for residents.

Mr Rajab said: "The name 'Sukoon' represents peace and comfort and that is what is embedded in the tower.

"We have created a secure and comfortable project that the public can enjoy at competitive prices starting at BD37,000 and rising to BD280,000 for its villa in the sky duplexes."

The apartment's interiors are based on a modern, contemporary theme with top-of-the-range fixtures and finishes including Western-style kitchens and bathrooms. Interior design agency, DWP, has developed the "look" of the apartments and common areas of the building.

The project could be completed in 30 months. To facilitate financing options for prospective buyers Tashyeed Properties has partnered with Bahrain Islamic Bank.

The apartments go on sale with the bank offering loans for 25 years to employed Bahrainis with a minimum deposit of five per cent. Self-employed Bahrainis and expats will be offered loans for more than 20 years with a 20 per cent deposit.
