Jet Airways, India's premier airline, is continuing to expand its operation and improve its services for customers in Bahrain.

The airline started its operations to the kingdom last month, as reported in GulfWeekly. It is India's first private airline to start services to the Gulf with non-stop daily flights connecting India with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar and a company spokesman said "this is just the beginning".

He added: "Most flights from the Gulf to Kochi and Kozhikode arrive early evening to enable our customers to reach home during daylight.

"The departures from cities in Kerala are also timed so that our customers can reach the airport in daylight and arrive into the Gulf city by dinner time."

Three Boeing 777-300 ERs and one Airbus A330-200 have been added to the fleet over the past one month, taking the total strength to 75 aircraft.

Jet Airways operates over 355 flights daily and has flown over 80 million passengers since inception in May 1993.

The Al Fanar Travel in Bahrain is general sales agent for Jet Airways and is a part of the Jawad Business Group -_one of the fast growing agencies in the kingdom.

"We are committed to serve Jet Airways passengers from five different locations within Bahrain covering Juffair, the Seef District and Riffa," said Suhaib Kidwai, general manager of Al Fanar Travel.
