Located in Port Saeed in the heart of Deira, minutes from the Dubai International Airport and within walking distance of the shopping and entertainment complex, Deira City Centre, the Copthorne Hotel Dubai opened a few weeks ago.

It has 163 spacious rooms and suites, four restaurants, swimming pool, health and fitness centre, business centre, meeting rooms and a club floor.

Managed by Millennium Hotels & Resorts, this first Copthorne to open in the Middle East aims to set the standards for the region with luxuriously appointed rooms of an average 40 to 135 sq m in size.

The Copthorne Hotel Dubai boasts Italian-inspired interiors featuring cool white sofa seating with a luxurious chaise lounge for added comfort in many rooms. The fresh colour scheme is complemented by warm orange and chestnut tones depicted in the soft furnishings, Arabic-style art and general decor; subtle spot lights offer soft directional lighting completing the clean, crisp and uncluttered appearance.

A well-lit working desk, flat screen interactive TV with a wide range of English and Arabic programming, high-speed in-room internet access with wireless connectivity in public areas, personal safe, first-aid box and coffee/tea making facilities ensure that even the busiest executive benefits from what limited relaxation time may be available.

Panoramic views of the Dubai Creek and city skyline are offered from large floor-to-ceiling picture windows and balconies, while the hotel's extra wide corridors are all fitted with motion sensitive lighting, marble flooring and sleek marble wall coverings.
