Debenhams has introduced its new spring summer collection for women, men and children. The range features fresh new looks by designers Julien Macdonald, John Rocha, Betty Jackson and Jasper Conran.

Commenting on the spring summer line, Gordon Bullock, the store’s brand director, said: “The new collection for women feature a kaleidoscope of inspirations including the luxurious safari look, feminine romantic dressing and looks from the 70s, 50s and 80s with  a modern take.

“Accessorising is the key here, there is a range of fashionable clutches, tote bags and shoulder bags to choose from. Our men’s collection includes 50s style, city smart dressing, fine tailoring and a youthful look. We also have a children’s collection offering great styles at amazing value.”

The womenswear features opulent designerwear. The ‘tribal luxe look’ in store features a silhouette enhancing collection. Full skirts, fitted jackets and belted waists feature in a chic neutral colour palette with complimentary prints.

For the ultimate safari look, combine  a Julien Macdonald satin safari jumpsuit with  a gold lame scarf or a Red Herring white vest and a Betty Jackson black circle skirt. Accessorise with a Mantaray tribal look necklace and chunky ring.

For the look of the jet set, adorn the glamorous eveningwear at Debenhams. Inspired by Riveria living the colour palette is hot in fuschia pinks, oranges and yellow. Key items to watch out for include printed maxi dress by Julien Macdonald and the debut ombre ruffle dress by Red Herring.

Preppy dressing takes on an Americana feel this season. Soft florals combine with washed denims and boyfriend blazers for a dreamy, romantic Walton’s inspired collection

Taking inspiration from rockabilly, Debenhams spring summer collection also features elements of 50s and 80s dressing. Black is the dominant colour with pink highlights. Accessories are patent and kitsch with mini clutches and plastic jewellery.

Romantic dressing defines the season with soft, feminine dressing. The trend focuses on ruffles and fabric manipulation in a washed-out, neutral palette with hints of metallic.
