Bernard Viola makes his debut to Bahrain as the newly appointed general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa.
In his new role, Mr Viola will be responsible for all aspects of the award-winning hotel's operations, employee engagement, guest engagement and brand recognition.
Combining focused leadership with a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer, he will continue to establish the hotel's prominent position within the local, regional and international market.
"Middle East is one of our strongest growth markets and Mr Viola is bringing the right talent and international experiences to the region," said Pascal Duchauffour, area vice-president, Middle East of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Mr Viola has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years.
