Dear Stan, WITH_reference to 'We're sorry kids, you are going to miss this' in last week's GulfWeekly.

Mr Frost (British School) and Mr Goodwin (St Christopher's School) whoever said that the F1 was NOT educational?

Well, maybe you don't have a son or daughter that would like to pursue a career in automotive engineering and design, or perhaps you don't know anyone at your school who is interested in this type of career, but I can assure you they are out there.

Education is not only about theory in most career paths chosen - obtained, pen in hand, at the school bench - the practical part is equally important. As educators, I urge you to please see the light.

Thank you Bahrain School for PLANNING ahead and ensuring your school holiday dates coincided with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
