Porsche Middle East and Africa in co-operation with Porsche Centre Bahrain, Behbehani Brothers, gave motoring fans in the region the chance to experience driving its range of high-performance sports cars and Sports Utility Vehicles.

The Porsche World Roadshow took place at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir last week and aimed to show the "distinctive joy" that Porsche brings to driving.

Drivers at the invitation-only were given the opportunity to select from 20 cars throughout the entire model range to put them through a number of electrifying disciplines.

The Porsche World Roadshow offered special training sessions to enhance driver skills under the supervision and guidance of Porsche-trained and certified instructors.

The day was all about safety and fun and was designed to highlight just how exhilarating driving a Porsche can be, a spokesman said.

It gave participants the chance to learn what the cars are truly capable of. By the time the event was over, a total of 230 guests participated and gained a thorough understanding of the brand and its model line up.

"Every Porsche model offers outstanding performance, so it is important for drivers to learn how to harness such power safely," says Anthony Raymond, brand manager of Porsche Centre Bahrain, Behbehani Brothers.

"The Porsche World Roadshow aimed to do this in a fun environment with world-class instructors. This was an important event for Porsche and we aimed to show even more people how our cars are designed for enjoyment and excitement."
