THE_French Embassy in partnership with the Bahrain National Museum is organising a contest that aims to challenge students into thinking, connecting, creating, and sharing.
Students will be asked to work in teams to build colourful and beautiful websites promoting the popular exhibition of masks currently being staged "to be shared with the world".
The organisers hope it will help participants learn a variety of skills including carrying out research, writing, teamwork, as well as technology skills.
"The contest offers a unique project-based learning experience to students and teachers across Bahrain," a spokesman said.
Teams should register by Monday, March 31. Last day to submit the WEBSITE address is April 7.
Bahrainis interested in the competition should form a team and appoint someone to act as a coach. Once the coach enrols the team, students can work together to create an attractive website about the Mask Exhibition. The French Embassy will provide the teams with material that should be displayed on the website (texts and pictures).
The most organised and well presented website will receive an award. The rules are:
Team members should be Bahraini.
Teams should register their names, ages, CPR numbers, school or job title by March 31 by sending an email to Reem Al Zayani (reem.al-zayani@diplomatie.gouv.fr).
'Masks - Beauty of the Spirits' accompanied by an extensive calendar of events is open every day from 8am to 8pm at the Bahrain National Museum.
