WEDNESDAY (Mar 26) Film - Before and After on Star Movies at 8.30pm

The lives of Carolyn Ryan (Meryl Streep), a dedicated and respected small-town paediatrician, and her husband, Ben (Liam Neeson), are thrown into turmoil when their teenaged son, Jacob (Edward Furlong), disappears suddenly after his girlfriend has been found brutally murdered. Together, Ben and Carolyn struggle desperately to find out what really happened, whether Jacob has done anything wrong, or whether he is in danger himself.

But then she gets some good news - she's won an all-expenses-paid trip for two to an exclusive resort in Palm Springs.

Simon Green (Ashton Kutcher) is white and his girlfriend Theresa Jones is black. They go to stay with her parents Percy and Marilyn Jones (Bernie Mac and Judith Scott) who are renewing their marriage vows - the only snag is that Theresa has failed to tell her parents that her boyfriend is white.

It's New Year's Eve, and new bellboy Ted (Tim Roth) is in for a wild night as the inhabitants of four rooms involve him in some strange goings-on. In one room, a coven of young witches and in another room, the bellhop becomes a pawn in a couple's kinky psychological games. A third room is being torn apart by two unruly kids while their parents are out painting the town red. And in a fourth, three men involve Ted in a bet - one that has potentially bloody results.

Mel and Nancy Coplin (Ben Stiller and Patricia Arquette) live near his neurotic adoptive parents in New York. When Mel and Nancy have a baby, they decided that they want to find Mel's biological parents before they name their child. The search is full of adventure and takes them cross-country where they meet disaster at every turn.
