Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort Al Areen ended the month of May on a triumphant note having received four prestigious awards for the premier Arabian spa and resort.
The awards recognise the Bahrain resort as one of the world's top resorts and destination spas.
The first one was the inclusion of Banyan Tree Al Areen in Conde Nast Traveller's (USA) list of Hot Spas.
Furthermore, Banyan Tree Al Areen was the recipient of two highly distinguished awards in the Resorts Web Magazine Hospitality Awards 2008. The Bahrain-based resort achieved first place in both the Top 10 Spa Resorts and Top 10 Resorts Worldwide categories, and second place in the Top 10 Desert Resorts category.
The resort has also received the Gold Award for the Best New Resort Hotel 2007, which was announced at the MENA Travel Awards event, in the UAE.
