Thailand's self-styled 'Boutique Island', Koh Samui, is a favourite amongst expiates with its lovely beaches and 'coconut' feel.

Situated in the lower Gulf of Thailand, the lovely island boasts excellent villa resorts, a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere and offers all sorts of fun activities.

Those looking for an ideal summer home can now experience this tropical paradise from the privacy of their own luxury villas, known as Samui Sunset Pavilions.

One example is located on the sunset coast of tropical Koh Samui, which is two kilometres from the island's capital, Nathon, and 20 minutes away from the airport.

Only a few hundred metres from the sea, the villa offers superb panoramic views of nearby tropical islands, the azure waters of the gulf of Siam, the rainforest and marine activity of Nathon Port.

Home-owners can certainly enjoy an active holiday with a wealth of activities, water sports, natural and man-made attractions and abundant restaurants.

There are also many shops and beach side restaurants within easy reach of the villa by car.

The 650 sqm designer villa boasts four air-conditioned bedrooms with views of the tropical waters, built in closets and ensuite bathrooms.

Two of the bedrooms contain private balconies and Jacuzzis, while another bedroom opens directly to the 'Pool Sun Terrace'.

The fourth bedroom opens to the 'Waterfall Terrace' which is furnished in a fusion of contemporary Asian and Thai-styled designs.

In addition to the air-conditioned bedrooms, fans are located throughout the villa and each bedroom suite has ample ventilation.

What's more, the villa features a balconied central tower containing a living area on the ground floor, a 'chill out' lounge on the first floor and a 'sundowner's vertigo' bar at the apex.

The views from every room can only be described as marvelous. The private residence also includes a fully-equipped European kitchen, a sauna and a beautiful pool sala.

A private driveway sweeps down to the entrance hall and lounge with wall to wall windows overlooking the splendid infinity pool, sun terrace and Jacuzzi.

At the moment, there is plenty of room for additional build around the existing villa. There is enough space to build a private cinema, two double bedroom apartments, a gym, a massage room and so on.

There are also two roads leading to the property; one leading to the main entrance and one to the back which could easily be made into a separate entrance.

Staff can service the villa and advise on any tours or other activities requested from the home-owners.

A full time cook or driver can also be arranged with prior notice.

Home-owners can also enjoy a Thai massage or other spa treatments at the villa from the sanctuary of their bedrooms or at the sala.
