Carrot 180 gm
Olive Oil 20ml

Coriander 10gm

Method
Clean carrot, boil, slice and mix with all ingredients.

Tomato 150gm
Capsicum 60gm
Olive oil 20ml
White vinegar 10ml
Cumin 5gm
Salt 5gm
Coriander 5gm
Method
Grill capsicum and remove the skin to be cleaned and chopped.
In the same time, steam tomato, remove the skin and seed (blancher).
Chopped, mix with the capsicum and all ingredients.

badaam halwa
(Grandmother’s Almond Sweet)
Ingredients
Almonds 250gm
Ghee 200gm
Oats 50gm
Cardamom 2 pinches
Fresh cream 100ml
Saffron amount of choice
Full cream milk half litre
Sugar 100gm
Procedure:
Crush the almonds. Roast the crushed mixture along with oats in ghee until the colour changes slightly towards brown.
Add milk and sugar and stir for 10 to 15 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Add the cream and stir again for five minutes. Sprinkle cardamom and saffron on top. Serve hot.
