I want to say a big thank you to so many of you out there. Over the last few weeks I've received a lot of lovely emails from you all wishing my friend Mariam well and promising to keep her in your prayers.
So I figured you'd all want to know that those prayers have been answered and Mariam is now out of her coma.
While the doctors were very worried for a while that her brain wasn't going to heal properly, happily that hasn't been the case and she is well on the way to a full recovery.
There's still a long, hard way for her to go but she's a strong and determined person so I know she's well up for the challenge.
Again, thank you all for taking a complete stranger to so many of you into your hearts. It's so lovely and soul-warming to see first hand the generosity of spirit that is still so abundant out there.
