Diyar Al Muharraq is the third project in Bahrain to be awarded to Great Lakes Nass, a joint venture company of the renowned international organisation Great Lakes, Dredge and Dock Company ("Great Lakes") and the Bahraini company, Nass Group.
It combines the dredging expertise of Great Lakes with the proven capability of the Nass Group in carrying out the rock protection works. This is the third project that the joint venture has worked on after its success in reclaiming the Khalifa bin Salman Port, the industrial area in Hidd and the resort project of Durrat Al Bahrain.
