The steering committee of Career Expo 2008 recently held a 'thankyou' lunch to conclude the youth summer forum, which was organised as part of the expo's activities to develop a highly proficient local workforce.
The five-day summer forum took place at Bahrain Training Institute (BTI), and consisted of two successive sessions. The first trained 30 high school female students; while the second session trained 30 male students. The camp comprised of valuable workshops on strategic career planning, a session on SMEs, resumŽ and interview workshops, a discussion of work ethics and multiple field visits.
The Career Expo steering committee also held a press conference announcing the 2010 Career Expo which will be held from November 7 to 13, 2010.
