Traditional Italian cuisine will be highlighted at the Chaine des Rotiseurs dinner tomorrow at Mondo in the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel.

Executive Chef Susie Massetti, pictured left, has devised a five-course menu underscoring simplicity alongside quality.

"For Italian families, food is very important but, important too, is conviviality around the table," explained the chef who aims to maintain these two factors for the Chaine dinner.

A beef bresaola with a fig compete and ricotta with honey will start off the meal, followed by an ancient oven-baked pasta recipe with aubergine and ricotta. The pasta will be prepared fresh on the day itself.

Hammour in a zesty tomato broth precedes stuffed chicken breast with a smoked pepper sauce and the chef's beloved pesto. The meal will conclude with a selection of small Italian pastries.

The award for the 'best Chaine dinner' of the season will be presented during the event.
