Gulf Weekly Cadillac all set to dazzle

Dramatic design and cutting-edge technology drove the Cadillac Escalade to success in the large luxury SUV category, and the Escalade aims to extend its pulling power thanks to the launch of the new 'ultra-luxury' Platinum Edition.

Offering even more segment-first technologies, this flagship car will hit Middle East showrooms shortly.

Cadillac's Escalade Platinum is the fullest expression of the brand's dramatic design, luxury and technology, its makers say.

The Escalade Platinum will be one of the most technically advanced SUVs with the addition of segment-first LED headlamps, offering greater lighting with reduced energy, and the world's fastest-acting suspension - Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control, which gives more precise body motion control.

Escalade sports a sleek, clean and athletic form with improved aerodynamics.

It is instantly identifiable as a Cadillac and incorporates styling cues from Cadillac's landmark 16 concept vehicle, including a detailed signature grille, front fender vent ports and layers of chrome accents.

Inside the Escalade Platinum is the latest example of Cadillac's 21st-century return to handcrafted luxury details. The instrument panel, centre storage console and door trim are wrapped and stitched by hand.

They feature decorative French seams that convey an elegantly tailored look and feel. Materials include rich leather on the instrument panel, with unique wood inlays, an aluminum trim and unique colours combination.

"The Platinum Edition will extend Escalade's continuing status as the large luxury SUV of choice for top consumers in the Middle East. It is the fullest expression of the brand's dramatic design, luxury and technology" said Adib Takieddine, Cadillac marketing manager in the Middle East.

"The Platinum Edition delivers convenience and is surely going to exceed the expectations of the Middle East consumers when it comes to luxury and performance".
