The Dilmun Club in Saar will host a night of stand-up comedy on Saturday. The Laughter Factory will start at 9pm and will feature Andy Askins, Craig Campbell and Steve Williams from the Comedy Store in London.
Andy is an accomplished performer who has spent the past 15 years travelling the world as a professional musician. He was recently invited to join Dave Spikey as a special guest during his nationwide tour. Originally from the north east of England, Andy is now based on the Isle of Wight where he lives with his wife and children.
Former host of Canada's legendary Ed's Night Party and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows (Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs), Craig is now set to star on UK television as presenter of Sky One's new hit series From Wimps to Warriors.
Craig appears alongside Tony Law and Dan Antopolski as part of comedy trio The Dinks. Their debut Edinburgh show in 2003 was both a critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best of Edinburgh programme in New York.
Welsh comedian and writer Steve has completed his first 20 date UK Tour, performed nationwide on the 2006 Lee Mack Live Tour, completed a fourth season headlining on the UK Comedy Network, performed at the Cardiff St David's Day Festival and appeared at the Miller Glasgow Comedy Festival and Leicester Comedy Festival.
He has debuted a solo show 'Excitable' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Streatham Festival and the Newcastle and Sheffield Comedy Festivals as well as regularly performing at major UK comedy clubs including Jongleurs, Comedy Store, Glee Club, The Stand, The Hyennah, The Komedia and Lee Hurst's Backyard Club.
He was nominated for the Best Open Mic award at the Chortle Awards in 2002 and has written for Distractions, Jimmy Carr's quiz show, and appeared on BBC 2's Essential Edinburgh, ITV1's Children of Courage Awards and on the Richard and Judy show.
