Following the launch of Kalaam's Talk Mobile service in Bahrain, Richard Green, Kalaam's chief operating officer announced the signing of a 'Regional Reseller Agreement' with Cellucom.
Mr Green stated: "We believe the signing of this agreement represents a significant step in the growth of Kalaam. This agreement with Cellucom allows both companies to benefit from each others particular area of expertise.
"In the case of Kalaam, we are one of the market leaders in Voice over the Internet technology (VOIP ) and now with our new Talk Mobile we can extend this service to most modern mobile phones. What we lack in mobile phone knowledge and distribution is made up by Cellucom's extensive range of direct retail outlets."
Adeel Malik, country manager Cellucom Bahrain, said: "Cellucom is very proud to associate with Kalaam and launch their products in our newly-opened store in Bahrain City Centre. Cellucom is focussing on broadening its product line by emphasising on its concept of 'Mobility'.
"The growth plan draws on Cellucom's strong understanding of the needs of the educated and well-informed customer, reflecting the company's vision of remaining a long-term player. Cellucom feels that this product offering would add on to its entire mobility offering to the customer."
