The Arab Leadership Forum was organised by the Young Arab Leaders (YAL), Bahrain, with an initiative to raise 1,000 young Bahraini leaders over the coming five years.

This year's forum had a central theme of 'Developing and Transforming Yourself as an Extraordinary Leader', bringing together top speakers with a wealth of expertise, experience and knowledge. These speakers included Warren Evans, global trend analyst and business strategist, Roger Konopasek, author and corporate strategist, Manoj Sharma, global thought leader and business coach and Jerome Joseph author and brand strategist.

And on the last day the YAL surprised delegates with an inspirational address by Abdulhakeem Yaqoob Al Khayyat, a prominent local business leader and YAL member.

The powerful and action-packed learning programme offered the chance to take away practical skills and advice on how to design a compelling personal brand.

Speaking at the forum Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa said: "The story of success begins from small to big, today we are taking a small step and tomorrow we will be taking a bigger step, until we achieve our mission of developing Arab leaders."

Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), was one of the sponsors of the event. More than 200 young participants attended from Bahrain, Dubai, Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco and Qatar.
