wednesday (Nov 26) Film - The Last Mimzy on Super Movies at 9pm.

Based on the acclaimed sci-fi short story by Lewis Padgett, The Last Mimzy is about two children who discover a mysterious box containing strange devices they think are toys. As the siblings explore the unique objects, they begin to display higher and higher intelligence levels - growing far beyond genius. Realising that something extraordinary is happening, the children embark on a mission to save our future before time runs out and things quickly spin wildly out of control.

THURSDAY (Nov 27)

Documentary - World's Toughest Fixes: Airline ER on NGC at 8pm.

Sean Riley is off to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to join a crack team of Boeing engineers and mechanics as they attempt to fix a damaged Boeing 767 jet. This is a crucial fix - taking a jet apart and putting it back together is a complex, three-week operation, and the smallest mistake could have huge consequences. As the new guy on the project, Riley soon becomes an integral part of the team.

Film - Ever After: A Cinderella Story on Cinema City at 7pm.

This spirited "Cinderella" is certainly no victim - against all odds, she stands up against a forceful and scheming stepmother, while honouring her late and beloved father. With her keen intelligence and independence, Danielle is definitely not waiting around for the prince to rescue her. When Danielle does receive help, it comes not from a "fairy godmother", but from one of history's most renowned figures, Leonardo da Vinci.

SATURDAY (Nov 29)

Film - Kiss of Death on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

A convict (David Caruso) agrees to go undercover and gather evidence on a notorious crime lord in order to win an early release from prison. Torn between his desire to win freedom, and his belief in an honour system between criminals, his fears are compounded when he learns that he has to infiltrate a ring headed by the notorious Little Junior (Nicolas Cage), a violent eccentric. Luckily, Junior takes a shine to Jimmy, welcoming him into his inner circle. While this pleases the investigators, it means further trouble for Jimmy, who will undoubtedly be killed if his deception is uncovered.

Film - Die Hard: With a Vengeance on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Bruce Willis returns as maverick cop John McClane. After moving to New York City and breaking up with his wife, McClane has developed a drinking problem and has been suspended from the NYPD. However, his past comes back to haunt him when a terrorist contacts him to let him know he plans to detonate a series of bombs throughout New York City. With the help of a Harlem shopkeeper named Zeus (Samuel L Jackson), McClane has to find out where Simon has planted the bombs.

MONDAY (Dec 1)

Film - Aliens on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), the sole survivor from the original Alien, is awakened after 57 years of drifting through space, her stories dismissed by Company executives who tell her that the alien planet is now colonised. When contact is suddenly lost with the colonists, Ripley returns to the planet with a squad of marines, an android, and a Company executive. Once on the planet, no survivors can be found except for Newt, a little girl, just in time for the acid-blooded aliens to attack.

TUESDAY (Dec 2)

Documentary - Against All Odds: Back from the Dead on NGC at 8pm.

A snowmobile accident victim lives after his heart stops in an icy lake. A car crash victim survives after her life support is terminated. A patient recalls a surgical procedure in detail after surgeons have induced her clinical death. Learn how they defied medical convention to come back from the dead. A forensic inquest explores these death-defying stories - only science can unlock the mystery.
