Wednesday (Dec 3)Film - The Devil Wears Prada on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Andrea 'Andy' Sachs is a bright young woman who has just graduated from college and wants to work as a writer. She has applied for a job at Runway, America's most prestigious fashion journal. Though Andy has little to no interest in fashion, it is the only magazine in New York with a job opening. Her position is second assistant to the magazine's ice-cool editor, Miranda Priestly. Once she lands the job, Andy quickly learns that Miranda is a diva with plenty of power. She also discovers that Miranda's endless demands would test the patience of a saint.

Film - The Greatest Game Ever Played on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Based on a true story, this rags-to-riches tale takes place at the 1913 US Open golf championship where two young men, both from disadvantaged backgrounds, tee off in one of the most exciting and dramatic competitions of the early 20th century. Directed by Bill Paxton, the film focuses on the competition between British star Harry Vardon and Francis Ouimet, a young American prodigy. Though they hail from opposite sides of the Atlantic, the struggles the two young golfers have overcome are markedly similar.

Film - National Treasure on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer teams up once again with Oscar winner Nicolas Cage for this thrill-a-second adventure that links a secret from America's past to the world's greatest treasure. Benjamin Franklin Gates (Cage) has spent his life searching for a treasure that no one believed existed. His journey leads him to the last place anyone would think to look for a treasure map: the back of the US Declaration of Independence. But what he thought was the final clue is only the beginning. Gates realises in order to protect the world's greatest treasure, he must now do the unthinkable: steal the most revered, best-guarded document in American history before it falls into the wrong hands.

In this remake of the 1968 film starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, a multi-millionaire (Pierce Brosnan) is looking for a little excitement in his life and decides to execute the perfect crime by emptying out a bank's safe in broad daylight. A female insurance investigator (Rene Russo) attempts to get the goods on him and ends up falling in love.

Film - The Constant Gardener on Xtra Movies at 7.30pm.

Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz give electrifying performances in this gripping suspense-thriller. TUESDAY (Dec 9)

Documentary - Against All Odds: Buried Alive on NGC at 8pm.

A cross country skier is caught in an avalanche and buried six feet under the snow. A construction worker is buried for 16 hours under five feet of dirt by a trench cave-in. And a diver is trapped in a small air pocket more than one thousand feet inside an underwater cave. They all survived. The programme explores the science behind these unbelievable events that seem to be against all odds.
