Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, is expanding its codeshare partnership with American Airlines.
The expanded agreement provides Gulf Air customers a wider choice of more than 400 daily flights across 40 cities in the US on American Airlines that include popular destinations such as Orlando, San Francisco, New Orleans, Seattle and Houston via Gulf Air's three European hubs - London, Paris and Frankfurt.
"The expansion marks an important milestone in our growing relationship with our long term partner American Airlines and I am very proud to announce the largest ever code share in the history of Gulf Air," says Gulf Air CEO Bjšrn NŠf.
"With the fast-growing trade volumes between Bahrain and the US, this expansion opens up the vast North American market to our customers, who can now travel seamlessly with Gulf Air to and from the many American Airlines destinations all over North America, whether for business or leisure."
Gulf Air operates three daily flights between London and Bahrain and nine weekly flights each to Paris and Frankfurt. Gulf Air passengers can now book directly with Gulf Air to travel on any of over 400 daily flights of American Airlines in the US. Frequent Flyer members can earn and spend their miles on American Airlines.
