FOX International Channels (FIC), the international television channels arm of News Corporation, announced the launch of its flagship channel - Fox Series in the Middle East.
Fox Series is a free to air general entertainment channel entirely dedicated to the best of television series. Home to top US serials, the new channel promises to be explosive, providing viewers across the Middle East smart entertainment with an edge.
The new channel is brought to the region through the strategic partnership between the highly successful & well loved media group, Rotana Media Services (RMS), owned by the media doyen Prince Al Waleed bin Talal vin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company and Rotana Holding and the internationally well-known Fox International Channels (FIC).
Fox Series, which will commenced broadcasting on December 1, is the regions first premier, dedicated free-to-air television series channel in the Middle East and North Africa offering viewers a sensational line-up of award-winning television series - from blockbuster series that have wowed audiences the world over like Desperate Housewives, Kyle XY, and CSI: Miami, to productions never seen before in the region like Brothers and Sisters, Nip/Tuck, Crusoe and The Listener, and to long-running popular smash-hits like Simpsons and Stargate.

Fox Series, is a young, vibrant and energetic channel targeted at the youth. This is strongly mirrored in the programming content, packaging and delivery of the channel.

What's On Fox Series?
For the first time ever on a free-to-air channel Fox Series will premier the third installment of the smash hit comedy drama series - Desperate Housewives, Season 3 - that focus on the lives, loves and secrets of a group of women in Wisteria Lane - featuring Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria Parker.
To commemorate this launch, it will broadcast a new episode every weekday of this smash hit drama series; along with science fiction epic series Kyle XY - which charts the struggle of the eponymous Kyle to unravel the mystery of who he is, after waking up in a Seattle forest with no memory of his life.
In addition to these two exciting series, the channel will premier Brothers and Sisters, the drama series revolving around the lives and intrigues of the Los Angeles Walker family; and Nip/Tuck, the medical drama following the lives of two plastic surgeons; which debuts on
