An international conference on project management is scheduled to take place next month at the Gulf Hotel.

The 12th International Conference, Seminars and Exhibitions will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa from January 27 to 29.

The forum will feature diverse presentations relating to all phases of project execution, from opportunities for investments and front-end planning to risk assessment.

Ahmed S Nasser, president of PMI Arabian Gulf chapter, said the conference is tailored to address the current concerns of every operating company in the region.

Participants will be free to move between four areas of interest to find the presentation which best suits their interests.

Some presentations will also address the best project management practices which have made the execution of mega projects a success.

Traders, manufacturers and contractors will also benefit by exploring new partnerships during the forum, which will feature a presentation on local business opportunities.
